Tester Operation

All of the essential TNE features are implemented on a single card designated ‘TNE Card’. This is the same card known as the Central Office Card or the Dual Subscriber Line Interface Card (DS SLIC2) from DSPG. The TNE application software implements all of the basic features required for telephone network emulation.

The TNE expansion is provided by the Dual Primary Rate PCM Interface and DSP Resource Card, known as the DS PCM2. This multi-function card allows for several different configurations to be implemented within the TNE unit and also offers connectivity to other specialized interface modules, e.g. Dual DAA module.
